A passion for golf began for Tim at the age of 10 when he followed his father to the local golf course for his first experience with the sacred game. This passion never ceased and it inspired him to pursue his career in golf course design.
Subsequently, Tim completed a B. Sc in Horticulture at Melbourne University in 1993 focusing on turf and golf course management then quickly gained employment with Golf Course Architect, Ted Parslow in the role of Design Associate. Based in both the Australian and Malaysian offices Tim quickly gained experience in all facets of golf course and resort development and the value of accepting, respecting and appreciating the local culture and landscape.
From 1998-2004, he was employed with the London based practice European Golf Design in the role of Senior Golf Course Designer. During the six years of involvement with this practice he was responsible for designing internationally recognisable golf resort developments in Ireland, Turkey, Finland, Portugal, Spain, Russia, Bulgaria, England, Wales, St Kitts & Nevis and Czech Republic.
